We all do it. Let's face it, it's inevitable. You sit on the beach and you...to put it not so lightly, you check people out. Who doesn't? It's completely normal, especially when you're a teenager/young adult. I have always felt guilty about it, but quite frankly...I SHOULDN'T. Now, if you are like me you think well you have no right to look. My smart aleck answer to that is, I'm just admiring God's creation! But frankly, I just think it's the way God wired us to be.
When I was younger I never noticed guys, but now I notice. I think this is because I'm at that age that naturally, I'm looking. It's nothing to be ashamed of (obviously since I'm confessing here!) it's just the way we are wired to be! If I never looked, how would I ever notice when "the one" comes around? I can't just close my eyes to the things around me, or I'll miss the blessings God has for me. So, no shame...go ahead and look. Just be sure that looking doesn't become lusting. BIG difference.
