Those Superpowers Again...

Opportunity. 
That's the one I'm talking about, because I have a BIG one.  Right in front of me.  The opportunity (if they take me of course) to be a stringer for our local newspaper.  Awesome right?   It's not going to be easy, or interesting, but if I can do the boring crap work well...then who knows where I could end up!  Journalism was never my real desire, but today, all I can do is be thrilled!  I only hope I can prove myself in the business. 
 As my professor who is pushing me to this said, "no more shy Ashley.  You need to create a new persona.  You need to be boisterous and demand answers.  You need to be a aggressive and competitive."  Bring on a new me? That's going to be tough for me.  I'm not outgoing and loud and..myself...unless I know you really well.  So, this is a new concept for me.  I'll have to stand out, grab attention.  Not shy away but stare people down.  Whew.  That's a big task, but if it is where I belong then it will happen!
