Only here...

Today has started off completely unusually for me.  After waking up later then I'd have liked and running out the door to school I pulled up to the main intersection in my town behind....a tractor.  You got it. A tractor, but not just any tractor...this tractor had perched on top one of my best friends.  She was sitting tall in her plaid shirt with her backpack on the floor next to the wheel.  Now, this WAS unusual but I was not surprised because today at my school it was, "Bring your tractor to school day".  That's right.  Only in my town.
So after a quick stop at the gas station I caught back up with her and followed her the usually 10 minute ride to school at 15 mph.  With blinkers on and arm out the window waving people past she made her way to school with me right behind her.  We got to school and coming down the other road was another tractor, and on the front lawn there were several already parked.  On the school lawn.  Only here.  Only in my little Pennsylvania town.
